SAN MIGUEL FIESTA WATERCOLOR ON ARCHES 16" X 20" A holiday trip to San Miguel de Allende Mexico was the inspiration for this painting. This headdress was but one of the examples of exquisite costumes worn by the hundreds of fiesta participants. San Miguel is a truly magnificent historic city.

Here is what has been happening: most everyday first thing in the AM I travel to the wilds of my studio to paint small very affordable paintings on hardboard, canvas or somewhat larger watercolor and/or acrylic paintings on arches paper or canvas. No inexpensive material for me! Upon completion of one of my colorful impressions I take a picture of it, and post it on my blog .
