NUMBER 62 is a larger version of Miss Berry's former home that has disappeared forever. Just one of many old Mobile homes that have been lost to progress. This somewhat abstract 24x24 painting on stretched canvas of the front yard of this old Mobile home is currently for sale at Cathedral Square Gallery.

IN 1856 THIS PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH was completed and the combined second and third Mobile, Al. congregations merged and moved into their new building. It stood on the corner of N. Jackson and Michael Street up until the mid 1890's. This 5x7 painting is just one of a number of similar subjects that can be found in my affordable painting collection on my web site. Please visit!

IN 1909 LOUIS METZGER moved into this new house on the southeast corner of Government and Michigan Avenue by Architect C. Hutchisson. Stucco and a tile roof with fluted columns and two dormer windows were on the original home. A large carriage house stood at the back of the property. When Government became a highway the house was moved around the corner to Michigan Avenue where it stands today. Much of the original was removed. The Acrylic 5x7 painting is on canvas panel.
